PRELATE OF ALEPPO TO DELIVER SERMON AT ST. MARY’S CHURCH IN GLENDALE
– PRAYERS FOR SYRIA IN ALL PRELACY CHURCHES
On February 21, 2016, the third Sunday of Great Lent, Sunday of the Prodigal Son, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will preside over Divine Liturgy at St. Mary’s Church in Glendale. The sermon will be delivered by H.E. Archbishop Shahan Sarkissian, Prelate of Aleppo, who is in town for the Syrian Armenian Relief Fund Telethon to be held on the same day.
On this day, “Der Voghormya” prayers will be offered in all Prelacy Churches for peace in Syria and the safety and well-being of Syrian Armenians.
We invite our faithful to join us in praying for peace and stability in Syria and to contribute generously to the SARF Telethon to ease the burden of our brethren in Syria.
