PRELATE TO PRESIDE OVER DIVINE LITURGY AT HOLY CROSS CATHEDRAL IN MONTEBELLO ON THE EVE OF GREAT LENT
– ARS REMEMBRANCE DAY REQUIEM PRAYERS IN PRELACY CHURCHES
On Sunday, February 26, 2017, the eve of Great Lent, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will preside over Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at Holy Cross Cathedral in Montebello.
The last Sunday of February is traditionally designated “ARS Remembrance Day.” Thus, on this day, by the request of the ARS Western Regional Executive, requiem prayers will be offered in all Prelacy Churches for the souls of ARS members and benefactors.

GREAT LENT SUNRISE AND VIGIL SERVICES TO BEGIN
Great Lent begins on Monday, February 27, and so too Lenten Sunrise and Vigil services, which are typically held on Wednesday mornings and Friday evenings respectively.
In keeping with tradition, the Prelate will preside over the first Sunrise Service of the season at Holy Martyrs Church in Encino, which will be followed by the annual Great Lent luncheon organized by the ARS “Anahid” Chapter at “Dikranian” Hall.
