PRELATE TO PRESIDE OVER DIVINE LITURGY AT HOLY TRINITY CHURCH IN FRESNO
– REQUIEM SERVICE FOR A.R.S. MEMBERS IN ALL PRELACY CHURCHES – ARF 125TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION IN FRESNO
Over the weekend H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will travel to Fresno where on February 28, 2016, the fourth Sunday of Great Lent, Sunday of the Steward, he will preside over Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at Holy Trinity Church.
On this day, by the request of the ARS Western Regional Executive, requiem prayers will be offered in all Prelacy Churches for members of the Armenian Relief Society.
Following the service, the Prelate will attend a celebration of the 125th anniversary of the ARF to be held at Holy Trinity Church social hall, featuring Dr. Viken Hovsepian as the keynote speaker.

PRELATE TO PRESIDE OVER MID-LENT FESTIVITIES AT HOLY CROSS CATHEDRAL IN MONTEBELLO
Wednesday, March 2, marks the midpoint of Lent. Traditionally on this occasion, luncheons are held within our parishes organized by Ladies Guilds and ARS chapters. The Prelate will preside over the annual mid-Lent luncheon at “Bagramian” Hall in Montebello organized by the Dean, Pastor, Board of Trustees, and Ladies Guild of Holy Cross Cathedral. In the morning, His Eminence will preside over Sunrise Service at the Cathedral.

WOMEN’S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER TO BE HELD AT ST. MARY’S CHURCH IN GLENDALE
Each year on the first Friday of March, Christian women in 170 countries gather in their respective regions to participate in the Women’s World Day of Prayer. This year’s theme is “Receive children. Receive Me.”
Women from Southern California Armenian Churches also participate in this annual day of prayer, which this year will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Glendale on Friday, March 4. Prayer begins at 10:30 a.m. and the worship service at 11:00 a.m. The event features prayers, Scripture readings, hymns, messages, and meditations. The Prelate will attend and convey his blessings and message.
