PRELATE TO PRESIDE OVER DIVINE LITURGY AT ST. SARKIS CHURCH IN PASADENA
On Sunday, January 31, 2016, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will preside over Divine Liturgy at St. Sarkis Church in Pasadena. His Eminence will be accompanied by Very Rev. Fr. Barouyr Shernezian, who will deliver the sermon.

ST. VARTANANTS CELEBRATION AT HOLY MARTYRS CHURCH IN ENCINO
On Thursday, February 4, the feast of Vartanants will be celebrated at Holy Martyrs Church in Encino with the participation of Prelacy clergy members.
Very Rev. Fr. Barouyr Shernezian will celebrate Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon. The service begins at 6:30 p.m.
We invite our faithful to join us in honoring the sacrifice and legacy of our Vartanants heroes.

PRELATE REPRESENTED AT SPECIAL CATHOLIC MASSES
Over the weekend two special Masses were held in the Los Angeles area, in which Prelacy clergy members participated on behalf of the Prelate.
The first was held on Friday, January 22nd, at Our Lady of Mt. Lebanon – St. Peter Maronite Catholic Cathedral, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the beatification of St. Sharbel. The Mass was presided by Most Reverend Jose Gomez, Archbishop of Los Angeles. Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Ashekian and Archpriest Fr. Nareg Pehlivanian participate in the service.
On Saturday, January 23rd, the annual Respect Life Liturgy dedicated to lives lost to abortion was held at the Cathedral of our Lady of the Angels also presided by Most Reverend Jose Gomez. Very Rev. Fr. Boghos Tinkjian and Rev. Fr. Ghevont Kirazian participated in the service.
