HOLY CROSS CATHEDRAL IN MONTEBELLO
On Sunday, June 24, 2012, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will preside over Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at Holy Cross Cathedral in Montebello.

EVENING SERVICES AT THE PRELACY
ST. DERTAD AND ST. ASHKHEN CHAPEL
We are pleased to announce that by the ordinance of H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, evening service will be held at the Prelacy St. Dertad and St. Ashkhen Chapel every Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
The first service will be held on Saturday, June 30, which is the Feast of St. Dertad and St. Ashkhen, the first Christian Armenian king and queen.
The services are being coordinated by Crescenta Valley Parish Pastor Rev. Fr. Ghevont Kirazian. The Prelate and clergy members will be present at subsequent services.
Following each service there will be a spiritual meditation, the first of which will be delivered by Religious Council Chair Very Rev. Fr. Muron Aznikian.
We invite our faithful, and especially our youth, to participate in these spiritually uplifting services.

PRELATE WELCOMES KACHARIAN SPONSOR FAMILY
On Wednesday, June 20, 2012, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, welcomed to the Prelacy sponsors Mr. and Mrs. Kevork and Mirna Kacharian. Joining the Prelate was Executive Council Secretary Mr. Meher Der Ohanessian and his wife Satig.
The Kacharian family had come to the Prelacy to congratulate the Prelate on his re-election, and also to present His Eminence with special gifts for the Prelacy. The couple donated a pair of gold crowns adorned with gold plated precious gems for use during the sacrament of Holy Matrimony, and a set of chalices, as well as silver crowns for Prelacy Churches.
The visit began with a prayer at the St. Dertad and St. Ashkhen Chapel, during which the Prelate blessed the vessels, and continued in the Prelate’s office. His Eminence thanked the Kacharian family for their valuable gift and year-long support and encouragement of the Prelacy’s mission.

PRELATE WELCOMES “HAIRENIK” ASSOCIATION REPRESENTATIVES
On Wednesday, June 20, 2012, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, welcomed the visit of “Hairenik” Association representatives Mr. Hagop Pashmanian, Mr. Harutiun Sarkissian, and Mr. Paroonag Tcheligian, who had come to congratulate the Prelate on his re-election.
The guests took this opportunity to thank the Prelate for his attendance at their 20th anniversary celebration and for his continued encouragement. They also conveyed information about their mission to aid in the progress of Armenia.
The Prelate thanked them for their visit and well wishes, commended their service for the advancement of Armenia and wished them success in their endeavors.

BLESSING OF ARMENIAN RELIEF SOCIETY
SPONSORS WALL AND TREE
On the evening of Thursday, June 21st, an event was held at the headquarters of the Armenian Relief Society Western Region in honor of ARS sponsors.
The Prelate attended and blessed the sponsors wall and leaves of the “everlasting tree”, a symbolic tree on which are inscribed the names of ARS sponsors.
The Prelate offered a prayer for the volunteers and sponsors of the ARS, wishing the organization continued growth and expansion. Rev. Fr. Ardak Demirjian accompanied the Prelate.
