PRELATE’S HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE
Sunday, March 20, 2016, is Palm Sunday, celebrating the triumphant return of our Lord Jesus Christ to Jerusalem. Palm Sunday also marks the start of Holy Week, a week of solemn and moving services culminating in the celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord. On Holy Tuesday we remember the Parable of the Ten Maidens, on Maundy Thursday the institution of the Eucharist, Jesus washing the feet of His disciples, and His betrayal, arrest, and trial, on Good Friday His crucifixion and burial, and on Easter Eve we celebrate the glorious Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will conduct Holy Week services at a number of parishes.

Palm Sunday: Holy Martyrs Church, Encino – 10:00 a.m.
Holy Tuesday: St. Mary’s Church, Glendale – 7:00 p.m. Maundy Thursday: Washing of the Feet: St. Garabed Church, Hollywood – 4:30 p.m. Vigil: Holy Martyrs Church, Encino – 7:00 p.m. Good Friday: St. Sarkis Church, Pasadena – 7:00 p.m. Easter Eve: Holy Cross Cathedral, Montebello – 6:00 p.m. Easter: St. Mary’s Church, Glendale – 9:30 a.m.
On Monday, March 28, Easter Memorial Day services will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills “Hall of Liberty” and Forest Lawn Glendale “Church of the Recessional.”
