PRELATE TO TRAVEL TO VATICAN TO JOIN
HIS HOLINESS ARAM I IN VISIT TO POPE FRANCIS
This weekend, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will travel to the Vatican where he will join the delegation of His Holiness Aram I on his first official visit to His Holiness Pope Francis.
The visit is scheduled to take place from June 3 – 6.
The delegation of His Holiness includes clergy and laity from a number of Catholicosate Prelacies from around the world. A group of laity from the Western Prelacy will be joining the Prelate.

PRAYERS FOR THE REPUBIC AND BLESSING OF THE ARMENIAN FLAG HELD IN PRELACY CHURCHES
In celebration of the 96th anniversary of the first Republic of Armenia, by the ordinance of the Prelate, on Sunday, May 25, Thanksgiving Prayers for the Republic and the blessing of the Armenian flag took place in Prelacy Churches.
During the requiem service following Divine Liturgy, prayers were offered for the martyrs who gave their lives for our nation in the battles of Sardarabad, Gharakilise, Pash Abaran, and others.
The Prelate presided over Divine Liturgy at St. Sarkis Church in Pasadena, conducted the day’s special services, and delivered his message on this occasion.
