thanksgivingOn this Thanksgiving, and throughout the upcoming Christmas celebrations and beyond, let us be mindful of the true meaning of the season and always remember to have an attitude of gratitude by focusing on the multitude of blessings God has bestowed upon us and sharing our gifts with the less fortunate to make the season a joyful one for all.

We all have countless reasons to be thankful; whether for our health, family, friends, homes, jobs, and above all, for the love and mercy of our Lord Almighty. “Now therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name. (1 Chronicles 29:13)

telethon-2016On Thursday, November 24, 2016, Thanksgiving Day, the 19th annual Armenia Fund Telethon will air live across the globe, rallying the Armenian nation to lend its collective support and assistance to building Artsakh’s emergency preparedness.

With the theme “My Artsakh,” proceeds from this year’s Telethon will benefit emergency and disaster preparedness by providing first aid medicines, emergency and trauma kits for hospitals and clinics, bomb shelters, temporary housing (tents), warm blankets, non-perishable food items, water purification systems, portable kitchens and other back-up measures for basic staples to sustain life in case of a severe emergency or humanitarian disaster.

H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, calls for widespread participation in the Telethon to ensure the future safety and security of Artsakh. The Prelate’s appeal will air during the Telethon.

The Telethon will air from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. PST on Armenian cable and other channels. Please visit www.armeniafund.org for TV broadcast guide or to watch the live webcast.



On Thursday, December 1st, the annual Christmas Luncheon-Boutique organized by the Western Prelacy Ladies Auxiliary will be held at Brandview Banquet Hall in Glendale (111 E. Harvard St., Glendale) under the auspices of the Prelate, and hosted by benefactor Mrs. Kohar Sulahian. The event begins at 11:30 a.m.

The Luncheon-Boutique is held each year on the threshold of the joyful holiday season, bringing together Prelacy community members to collectively kick-off the Christmas and New Year celebrations
