The Western Prelacy “Harut Barsamian Scholarship Fund” Committee, headed by H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, is pleased to announce that after a thorough review of applications for the 2017-2018 academic year, scholarships have been awarded to five students obtaining higher education in the USA and in the field of Science, based on their academic achievement and involvement in community life. The Committee is comprised of benefactor Mrs. Tamara Barsamian, Dr. Garo Agopian, and Ms. Shakeh Bogharian.
The scholarship recipients are: Levon Barseghyan (UC Berkeley), Boghos Taslakjian (Purdue University), Gorune Geloyan (UC San Diego), Krikor Mikhanjian (CSU Fullerton), and Hoory Lori Minoyan (Boston University).
