The Western Prelacy “Harut Barsamian Scholarship Fund” Committee, headed by H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, is pleased to announce that after a thorough review of applications for the 2018-2019 academic year, scholarships have been awarded to five students obtaining higher education in the U.S. in the field of Science, based on their academic achievements and involvement in community life. The scholarship recipients are: Avedis Tufenkjian (UC Berkeley), Shahan Atmajian (UCI), Meghety Manoyan (UCLA), Vahe Gharakhanyan (UC Berkeley), and Patelle Jivalagian (UC Berkeley).
The Committee is comprised of benefactor Mrs. Tamara Barsamian, Dr. Garo Agopian, and Ms. Shakeh Bogharian.
