Western Prelacy “Naregatsi” Spiritual Curriculum Begins

On Friday, July 6, 2018, the “Naregatsi” Spiritual Curriculum which was recently launched under the auspices of H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, commenced its first class at St. Mary’s Church in Glendale headed by H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Vicar General and Director of the program. Forty-five youth, adults, and elders participated.

Archpriest Fr. Vazken Atmajian delivered welcoming remarks. The Vicar General presented the curriculum and expressed his joy for the participants who had come to enhance their knowledge of our Church. The Prelate welcomed the participants and commended the Vicar General on this occasion.

As previously reported, the program will run one year and classes will be held at St. Mary’s Church every Friday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. (there will be no class on August 3 and 10). The first three months will focus on the history of the Armenian Church from its establishment to the present day and the hymns of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

We encourage our faithful of all ages to participate in this enriching program.
