Women’s World Day of Prayer

On Friday, March 1st, Christians in over 170 countries will unite in spirit for the 92nd annual World Day of Prayer. Locally, women from the Armenian Apostolic, Catholic, Evangelical, Nazarene, and Brotherhood Churches will, for the 49th year, mark the occasion with a worship service at St. Mary’s Church in Glendale. The theme of this year’s World Day of Prayer is “Come, for all things are now ready,” from the Parable of the Great Supper in Luke 14:15-24.

The service will feature Gospel readings, Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, meditations, and messages.

The Prelate, accompanied by clergy members, will attend and convey his blessings.

The day will begin with a reception at 9:30 a.m., followed by prayer at 10:30 a.m., and the worship service at 110:00 a.m.
