On Friday, August 14, 2015, Mr. Ara Abrahamyan President of the World Armenian Congress and the Union of Armenians of Russia, visited the Western Prelacy where he met with H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate. Mr. Abrahamyan was accompanied by his colleagues. The Prelate was joined by Very Rev. Fr. Boghos Tinkjian, Archpriest Fr. Nareg Pehlivanian, Executive Council Chair Mr. Vahe Hovaguimian, Vice-Chair Dr. Dikran Babikian, and member Mr. Vahrij Pilavjian.
Following introductions and welcoming remarks, Mr. Abrahamyan spoke of the endeavors and mission of the organizations he heads and offered his perspective on the Diaspora and matters relating to the Armenian homeland.
The Prelate commended Mr. Abrahamyan for his dedicated service and wished him continued successes in his current and future endeavors. At the conclusion of the visit His Eminence presented mementos to the honored guests.
